Giulia scowled. She had been dragged all the way across the city in her goose chase for Aden.
Now she was empty handed. She hoped her sister had been more successful with Kurtis.
Giulia continued flying for Haven Corp. She would arrive soon.

Lisa sighed.
Olivia burst onto the roof. "Kurtis?!"
Lisa ignored the newcomer, speaking to her opponent.
"Fine, I'll tell you where it is."
Lisa returned her Pidgeot.
"We don't need it anyway," Lisa scowled.
This had been the only reason she had allowed Giulia to fulfill her schemes. There was no way she would trade this hunt for anything. But Kurtis was tenacious. It could prove useful.
"What?" Kurtis raised an eyebrow.
"It's in Taurinno. Well, near Taurinno," Lisa explained. She circled slowly toward the edge of the building roof.
"Tell me!" Kurtis shouted.
Olivia looked back through the door, for Marcus.
"It was last spotted in the Appenine Mountains, north of Taurinno. We flew over the area on the way here. I couldn't find it, and we have bigger Magikarp to fry."
Lisa jumped off the building, releasing her Skarmory beneath her.
"Good luck!" Lisa laughed as she escaped.

Olivia turned to Kurtis. "What was she talking about?"
"They found it," Kurtis smiled. "They found an Articuno!"
Olivia put her hand on Kurtis' shoulder. "Honey, I don't think that's all they're after."
Olivia handed Kurtis the flashdrive.
"Where the hell," Olivia turned around, looking for Marcus. "Where is that kid?"

No time for questions. Guilia's office. There will be a red tech drive. Get it.
Marcus stared at his PokeGear in the stairwell before sighing. Shit was going down and now this?
Something about the flat imperative told Marcus that leaving the drive for Guilia wasn't a good plan. Neither was getting caught, however. Who was messaging him? He felt as if charging into Haven Corp for Kurtis had got him caught in the sticky strands of a web Guilia hadn't laid, even as he tried to avoid the one she had.
Marcus didn't have time to make a decision. He ran back down the stairs he had climbed, back into Guilia's office. He flipped over files and cleared off Guilia's desk, looking for the drive. After a few seconds, when the stress began to squeeze desperation out of Marcus, he found it. It was in a box that had inset areas for four squares. One of those had the red drive. The others were empty. Marcus grabbed the drive and dashed back up the stairwell, taking the stairs two at a time.
Finally, after an eternity though it had been barely longer than two minutes, Marcus arrived at the roof, drive pocketed.

Kurtis saw Giulia approaching in the distant sky.
"We need to leave, now," Kurtis looked at Olivia.
"Well I don't think the kid's Noivern can fit three," Olivia smiled. "My way?"
Kurtis smiled nervously, eyeing the approaching champion again.
"Your way."
Kurtis turned to Marcus. "Take a deep breath."
Before Marcus could even respond, Olivia and Kurtis grabbed him, pulling him off the roof with them. Olivia released Her Swampert and Starmie, both Pokemon pulling the water up from the canal as they landed below.
Olivia and Kurtis held on to the two Pokemon and Marcus, escaping in the murky water below before Giulia could catch them.
Exit Kurtis, Olivia, and Marcus.
