Julian assumed the Ampharos was reasonably well known around these parts, and figured it had to be hard for it to get too lost. How hard could it be to find a bright yellow sheep pokemon? "Prism, come back out," he asked, and the bird did so. "I'll have Prism take a look from above," he offered. "Might catch something we don't see from the ground. Stay close though," he added to his Pidgeot as it cawed brightly and took off into the air.
"I can go with you into the town," he offered to Rachel, while simultaneously bringing up his pokegear to connect with the other trainers. He also looked at the attendant before she could leave. "Has the ampharos ever gone missing before?"

Odette pondered a moment, the obvious move would be to go to the authorities, but obviously it hasn't been that long since the creature vanished, perhaps investigating the last known location may give some slue to where it may have gone, and if any... foul play was involved.
"Before running off into different directions like a bunch of teenage sleuths with their talking Growlithe, may hap we better call the Authorities first, they would, of course be better equipped to help." She continued with the authoritative tone becoming more confident " And If I were you Rebecca, I would contact Étienne, I doubt he would be pleased to learn a subordinate kept something important from him, and if he were to return before this is resolved, left out of the loop, he would probably be even less so." Odette clapped her hands together "Now! I can also contact my people at the facility, having set up shop here they have been surveying and cataloging the islands environs. We also have people out in the field who may have observed something" with a quick look to her driver "Now some one should return to the lighthouse, to meet the police when they arrive, I can take them by car. those of you who are going to search by foot, please leave your poke gear contact info with my driver" Odette finished pulling our her business Poke Gear, with a dangling Kyoger charm, to contact the facility.

"I- I tried Etienne. He never answered his PokeGear. He said he was headed to Fiume."
Rebecca nearly broke down into sobbing at Odette's words, but she had trained too long to show that kind of weakness.
"He left me in charge," her confidence surged for a moment, drying her eyes. "I have to find Ampharos. Can you inform the police while in town?"
Rebecca then grabbed Ben's hand. "Come on, lets go to the Pastore Farm!"
And with that, the two split off from the group, headed down the road.

Ben knocked on the door of the farmhouse. Outside the field was humming with static from the Mareep and Flaaffy.
"Mr. Pastore?" the gym attendant beckoned. A few moments later, they heard movement inside the house.
The old man opened the door slowly. He looked like he had been sleeping.
"Rebecca, how can I help you?" he smiled, wiping the nap from his eyes.
"Please, Ampharos has gone missing!" Rebecca spoke quickly. "Have you seen her in your flock?"
Mr. Pastore looked around for a moment. "Not since this morning, no. But I've been napping all afternoon. Only thing I heard was a dang murder of Murkrow cawing earlier. Stupid birds always interrupt my nap."
Rebecca looked defeated.
"Thank you, sir," Ben spoke. "Can you please let us know if you see anything?"
"Of course," Mr. Pastore looked sympathetic, and he offered a weak smile to the gym attendant. "I'm sure you'll find her, Rebecca. You know that Ampharos can look after herself."

"I'm off, if the rest of you want to come," said Rachel with a measure of indifference. "Pokemon Center first, and then off to see if anyone in town has seen anything.
Rachel went on ahead toward town, keeping and eye out as she went. She went straight for the Pokemon Center, not looking back to see if anyone had come with her. She entered the red and white building.
Approaching Nurse Joy, who was attending the main counter of the Center, Rachel asked,"Have you seen or heard of any Ampharos around? Rebecca from the Gym here asked me to help look for a lost one, and I thought you might have heard or seen something from the trainers that come through here."
"No, I'm sorry. I'll be sure to let the people at the Gym know if something does turn up though!" replied the nurse.
"Alright then. Could I get directions to the police, as well? Or their contact information? We should ask them as well," said Rachel.
"Oh! I'll call the police for you," smiled Nurse Joy, happy to be able to help. She went over to a video phone and talked with an Officer Jenny briefly before returning. "There you go. It sounds like Officer Jenny is keeping an eye out around town. Let us know if you find it, okay?"
"Thanks, Nurse Joy. You too!" replied Rachel, before turning to leave the Pokemon Center. However, just as she was about to go through the doors, she overheard a nearby trainer. She paused.
"Yeah... rumor has it there are Pokemon thieves on King street... but no one has seen them."
"Maybe it's just a ghastly playing pranks?" replied the other trainer.
