The Professor's Gardevoir, Lady, slept on the burned couch within the remains of the lab. Guy's other Pokeballs sat on a shelf next to the couch, rescued by Lady. Moonlight shown through the hole in the roof and a cold breeze blew through the facility. Across the room from the sleeping Pokemon a charred, but still functional, videophone lit up. The screen was black but the glow of the monitor woke the Gardevoir. She moved carefully moved toward the monitor. "Hello, Lady." spoke a distorted voice from the machine. "The appointed time is at hand." The videophone shut off and the Pokemon looked skyward. Using her psychic power she rose out of the hole and stood upon the roof, gazing at Mt. Suvi.
