Giulia paced in her office. Togekiss was perched a few feet away, preening itself.
"Why is he late?" Giulia was growing annoyed by the man's tardiness.
"I have people to see, and things to do," she continued talking to the preening Togekiss.
She paced some more.
"I shouldn't have sent Lisa off. She could met with him for me."
And so she continued, staring at her watch, until suddenly...

The Pokemon Center had disappeared, and in its place was a hallway, with an ornate door in front of them.
Stricker knocked on the door, grinning as Giulia Rossi opened it.
"You're late," she greeted him.
"And it's good to see you, Ms. Rossi!"
Stricker spun in place, patting Xatu on the head for the Teleport.
"Now, let's go quickly. Wh-"
"Who are these two?" Giulia interrupted.
Stricker smiled, gesturing to the two trainers.
"These are my associates, both expert Pokemon catchers."
He smiled at the two trainers, "please, introduce yourselves. This is our League Champion, Giulia Rossi."

Roxy may never get used to the disorientation and nausea caused by teleportation. Her stomach churned and, thanks to the soda she was drinking, let out a mighty burp. "Pardon me, Ms. Rossi. I am sure you know what it's like to teleport." Roxy held out her hand, "The name is Landra Ghast, Pokemon Hunter."

Being drug through yet another teleportation for the day didn't bother X. What did was what he was introduced to at their destination. Giulia Rossi, the living embodiement of everyone he had ever hated, stood before him. Nothing could have been more unexpected than for him to be presented his end goal moments after he had resigned himself to his journey's halt. Nothing could have made him feel more constricted than to swell with the need to tear down his unknowing rival while surrounded by her and her associates. The carrot dangled and the cart stood still.
"I'm John Bonham." X declared, following Landra's lead.
He hoped to get away by interacting with his foe as little as possible before he was allowed to leave. The thought occurred to him that amongst everything else Rossi had been handed in her life, they were now assisting her in capturing a legendary pokemon. It was yet another luxury she did not deserve, and it did not sit well with him. Yet, he was already caught in this spider's web, and the wrong move would certainly call his demise. X positioned himself just behind the other trainer's outside shoulder without offering his hand. If Giulia's body language inquired for a show of respect from him after she addressed Landra, then he would feign such an action. He hoped, though, that she would overlook him and it would be necessary.

"Right," she spared only a few seconds to acknowledge the crazy man's associates.
"I need you to go to Mt. Suvi and deliver this to Harold."
Giulia paused a for a moment, moving back to her desk. Togekiss softly cooed in the corner.
She opened a drawer, pulling out a purple Pokeball.
"I don't suppose I need to tell you how important this is," she said as she handed him the ball.

Stricker smiled as he took the Master Ball.
"You can count on me, my dear."
He pulled out a sucker from his pocket.
"Candy?" he offered in return.
The champion's sneer was all he could handle.
Moments later, Xatu Teleported the group away.
